Topping the charts right now is Govinda. Wonder what’s with the wig yaar. All stars that come back have this funny wig which doesn’t really suit them. Okay anyway let’s leave the wigs and look at the films. Govinda came back with Bhagam bhag. A sweet comedy by Priyadarshan. Now he is all set to capture the scene with salaam-e-ishq where he plays a taxi driver in love with a foreigner. Rathi Agnihotri too made a come back: Vinod Khanna too is making a come back in the movie risk. It’s a risk that he has taken but I wish with all my heart that it should pay off. Yester years star Rathi Agnihotri too made a come back but in a completely different style. She went on and participated in a reality show Jhalak Dikhla ja, which is the Indian version of dancing with the stars. Oh! She looked so pretty and even after 24 long years she danced her way out gracefully. Unfortunately she didn’t make it till the end but hey fortunately she is now acting in serials and is looking absolutely gorgeous. Talking of Jhalak dikhla ja, this dance show ended in a big controversy. Sony star Mona Singh won it when the entire world knew that Shweta the runner up was the better dancer. But Shweta was lucky as Judge and movie director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was all flown by her dancing. He even called the Madhuri Dixit of current times. Rani Mukherjee - the Queen of Bollywood: Sanjay Leela Bhansali I think is better known for his movie Black than anything else. This movie made every body cry and proved once gain that Rani Mukherjee is the queen of Bollywood. Sanjay some how has the ability to bring out the best in all his stars. Wish he makes a movie with my favorite Salman Khan who is his dear friend too. If there is someone who can make Salman win an award I believe it's only Sanjay. Salman Khan's turn to show the world his talent: Salaam-e-ishq is all set for release and this time around it's not King Khan in this Nikhil Advani film. Its Salman Khan's turn to show the world his talent. Salman walked of with a feather in his cap for Jaaneman in which his performance was easy and too good for words to express. Salman is always surrounded by trouble and that's why nobody actually sees what a romantic and nice guy he is. A true lover who is still searching for true love in his life. Pray all Salman fans that this year at least he should find his lady love and settle down. Sachin and Supriya Proved Their Love: Talking of true love, yester years Stars Sachin and Supriya proved their love for each other and their profession by winning the Jodi No. 1 competition. This was a reality dance competition where star couples had to prove their dancing abilities. The second season of the same show came to an end recently and the winners this time were Hussain and Tina. Hussain is a TV star and is famous for his role as Sumeet in Kumkum, while his wife Tina was the surprise packet as she doesn't even belong to the acting fraternity. These dance shows have given the winners and the runners' instant stardom. People are willing to pay them a lakh and a half to perform in their local functions. |
