Aadu

Aadu oru Bheegara jeevi Aanu ( Eng: Goat is a dangerous Animal) is a Malayalam romantic/comedy film directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas. The producers of the film are Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas under the banner Friday film house. Jayasurya and Srinda Ashab are in the lead roles in this film. A female goat 'Pinki' plays an important role as or more of a heroine. This story of the film is about a misogynist and his life. This film is considered to be one packed with political satire and pleasantry moments. Shaji Pappan (Jayasurya) is a guy who is having some strong friends always with him. Some times he suffers from back pain and it ruined his life as well. Whenever he is redy to do some important work this pain annoys him and he is now fedup with that. Because of this reason only, his wife also left him and he became a misogynist. Any way they once won a tug-of-war competition and he and his friends were awarded with the prize money along with a female goat. But Shaji first of all opposed it and hesitant to accept it. But his friends compelled him and he hunched before them. The true story starts from here and it shows how a goat changed their life. There comes many more characters and some political scenes are so sharp that it is apt with contemporary politics. Aadu-oru Bheegara Jeevi Aanu is received with many negative reviews and it was a flop before the audience. No one even, the comedy of Jayasurya with a joke some times make you laugh, but for a film that is not enough to make it a success. There are so many unrealistic elements in the film and none except Jayasurya proved their talent. Though Jayasurya as usual, with his varied character shown a positive approach, but the story, screenplay, dialogue or music nothing could compete with a minimum standard of a film.
