Aashayein

The story begins with a party of Rahul i.e. John, because he has won a lottery. He proposes to his girlfriend to Nafisa i.e. Sonal Sehgal in the party but when he was going to kiss her, he collapses on the ground and the doctors said that he doesnt have enough life to live as he was suffering from Lung Cancer. Because of the reality shock Rahul left his house and went to Hospice where he met with similar kind of people who doesnt have long life to live. At their Rahul with his new friend Padma i.e. Anitha decided to give joy in the life of the dying people. What happened next, their forms the rest part of the story. The director is famous to make those films that talk about the spirit of life. The film has an interesting story to introduce but cannot put it on the silver screen due to poor presentation. John has done justice with his role, but his character was got outshine, Sonal was deep, Anaitha was the show stealer, Girish Karnad was ok, Shreyas was brief, Farida was amazing, and all others were good on their part. The first half of the movie was interesting but it lost its interest in the second half. There were lots of unwanted scenes, unrealistic locations which is one of the reasons of the failure of the movie.
