Bollywood actress Alia Bhat is shooting for Raazi in Kashmir, media report from Delhi suggest.  Meghna Gulzar is directing the film.

Alia plays a Kashmiri woman in ‘Raazi’, who is married to a Pakistani army officer, played by Vicky Kaushal. The film is set during the 1971 India-Pakistan war and is based on the book ‘Calling Sehmat‘. The film is scheduled to be released by May 2018.

Alia Bhatt, who was in the Bay for a few days after wrapping up the Punjab schedule of Meghna Gulzar’s Baaghi, is now in Kashmir for the next schedule. And giving her company in the scenic Valley is her childhood bestie, Akanksha Ranjan.

Akanksha shared a picture with Alia on her Instagram, captioning it, “Not so quiet kahwa evenings.” Going forward, the actress shared the same picture. She captioned the saying, “Forever kinda mood.”

While the duo playfully sipped on some kahwa during downtime recently, the rumour mills back home have been in overdrive ever since pictures of the actress reuniting with former beau Ali Dadarkar hit the social media over the weekend. Thank heavens for outdoor shoots, right?
