While fans have been eagerly awaiting news about Don 3 with Shah Rukh Khan, it seems we finally have a title for the film and there is more – check out all details here.

The much-awaited sequel of the Don franchise seems to be finally in the works. The film franchise which started in 2006 with Don: The Chase Begins, got its first sequel Don 2 in 2011. Both films were directed by Farhan Akhtar and starred Shah Rukh Khan in the lead. Now, according to a report in Cine Blitz, sources have confirmed that the thrid installment of the franchise will be titled Don: The Final Chapter and will actually be the last film from the beloved franchise.

With reports abuzz that SRK has left the Rakesh Sharma biopic for doing Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3, now, this new report also reveals that the film will go on the floors sooner than expected – may be by mid-2019. Add to that, this may also be the first time in the franchise when Farhan Akhtar himself will have a significant in the film, playing a cop. If you remember in the last film (Don 2), Hrithik Roshan had made a guest appearance.

The report further suggests that while most of the cast has been finalised, hunt is still on for the lead actress of the film. While fans may have loved Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra’s chemistry in the first two films, but for obvious reasons, PeeCee would most likely not make a come back for this one and the makers are looking for a suitable replacement to star opposite Don in the film.

“Shah Rukh Khan and Excel Entertainment have finally locked on to the script. Don: The Final Chapter will be full of action and trickery. But it all ends! They thought it would be nice to give the franchise a great end, rather than dragging it. And hence, they’ve come up with a great climax that will have everyone stunned,” a source told the Magazine.

However, we do suggest that you take this piece of news with a pinch of salt as all of this information is coming from a source and neither the title or anything else has been confirmed by the makers or Shah Rukh Kha himself. Having said that, Don: The Final Chapter does sound like pretty awesome title for Don 3.
