Mohanlal has too many treats for his fans this Onam! As his much awaited film – Velipadinte Pusthakam hits theatres today, the trailer of another upcoming, Villain has been released on social media. His co-star of this film Manju Warrier, brought in the occasion of EID with this promo. Directed by B unnikrishnan, Villain trailer opens with the murder of a few important people. It seems that the killer is following a pattern. While the investigation is on to catch the ‘Villain’ and stop further killings, Mohanlal a retired cop looks into the case as well. As he probes deeper, he realises that the lines between good and bad are badly blurred and its all grey! Alongside Mohanlal, we have vishal, Hansika Motwani and Rashi Khanna making thier Malayalam debut. The film promises to be an intense crime story with unexpected twists. Mohanlal’s salt n pepper look suits him down to the T. It’s going to be on crackling case to solve! What do you think? How did you liek the Villain trailer? In other news, fans are also looking forward to Odiyan, one of Mohanlal’s most ambitious projects till date. He plays the last surviving member of a Tribe from Kerala. They posses the power to turn into shape shifters that can scare people. The film will be directed by Sreekumar Menon. The first look created quite a stir as it featured a younger looking mohanlal on the poster. The film also stars Manju Warrier. Another awaited project starring MOhanlal is Randamoozham, the Rs 100 0 crore Mahabharata project directed by Sreekumar Menon yet again! The shooting for this film will commence in 2018 and will release in 2020. Mohanlal has been finalised to play Bheem, the central character who is narrating the story according to MT Vasudevan Nair’s book.
