After a successful NH 10, Anushka Sharma is back as an actress and producer with Phillauri. But the best part is we will get to see Diljit Dosanjh again on screen after Udta Punjab. He definitely left a mark in our minds and hearts. One other film that’s also releasing this week is Anaarkali Of Araah. Swara Bhaskar is seen in a bold avatar here. 1. Film: Phillauri

Star cast: Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh and Suraj Sharma

Shashi’s love story was left incomplete and she wants to finish it as a spirit. Yes, Shashi is a friendly ghost who becomes a chip on the shoulder of a foreign returned guy here to get married. Whether he manages to fulfil her wishes or no is what the story is all about.
The biggest reasons to watch it are Diljit and Suraj. The Punjabi rockstar is back on big screen after Udta Punjab and that makes us extremely happy about the film. As for Suraj, well, Life Of Pi is one of our favouites and Phillauri will be his first Bollywood film.

2. Film: Anaarkali of Araah

Star cast: Swara Bhaskar, Sanjay Mishra

Anaarkali of Aaraah revolves around an erotic singer from Aaraah in Bihar. But things take a turn for worse when she decides to confront an influential man after he molests her. The fight gets cruel and brutal but Anaarkali won’t give up. Not just yet!
