Green Book wins Best Picture; Rami Malek and Olivia Colman awarded Best Actor and Actress

The Oscars 2019 are officially over. The 91st Academy Awards took place on February 24 and revealed winners of Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director and Best Picture among other Academy Award winners. The Oscar for Best Picture Award was won by Green Book. Best Actor was bagged by Rami Malek for his performance in Bohemian Rhapsody whereas the Best Actress Award was presented to Olivia Colman for The Favourite. Roma went on to become the first Mexican movie to have won the Best Foreign Language movie whereas Lady Gaga bagged her first Oscar for Shallow. She took home the Best Original Song for Shallow from A Star Is Born. Green Book and Black Panther won three awards each. India-based documentary – Period. End of Sentence. – also won an Oscar.
