It seems Sanjay Leela Bhansali has finally convinced Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan to star together in a film.

We have word that the film is inspired by7 Subhash Ghai’s Saudagar which starred Dilip Kumar and Raj Kumar together. The film is a huge hit in the box office. We have a word that the film is a “younger remake” of Saudagar and the storyline is inspired by the film.

Apparently, Bhansali has had a spate of meetings with the two superstars and have been able to convince them to do this period drama. We also know that this period drama might not a biopic but this will be a fictionalised version of a real-life story like Bhansali did in Devdas.

The film which is still in the early stages of scripting hasn’t been locked it and only the broad storyline has been locked. Bhansali is currently locking the looks and the word is out that he might be signing the stars during the middle of this year (2019).

What’s more? There’s a word out that even Aamir Khan might be doing a guest appearance in the same film and it will be the first film in the country where we will find the three Khans together on screen.

The last time Salman and Shah Rukh Khan was seen together on screen was in 2002 film Hum Tumhare Hai Sanam.
