Siddhant Chaturvedi shuts down Ananya Panday’s nepotism rant with boht hard reply

Siddhant Chaturvedi had a befitting reply to Ananya Panday on nepotism debate. The video is going viral.

Siddhant Chaturvedi roared at the big screen as he played the character of MC Sher in Ranveer Singh’s Gully Boy. The actor made a mark with his very first role in Gully Boy, result of which was him bagging a project with the Yash Raj Films – Bunty And Babli 2. 2019 saw the launch of many star kids too, which included Chunky Panday’s daughter Ananya Panday. Recently, Siddhant and Ananya participated in an interview with some of the few newcomers of the Hindi film industry.

Nepotism was one of the topics that they discussed in the interview. Sharing her view on the subject, Ananya said, “I have always wanted to be an actor. Just because my dad has been an actor, I will never say no to an opportunity to act. My dad has never been in a Dharma film, he never went on Koffee With Karan. So it’s not as easy as people say. Everyone has their own journey and their own struggle.” She added, “When SOTY 2 got delayed by a year, my dad actually didn’t even congratulate me till the film released because that’s how fickle the industry is. That’s how dispensable people are. Anything can happen, it can get shelved, it can release after years and he knows that. Mine has been a lot of personal experience, I have seen my dad go through so many things that I don’t take anything too seriously. I overcompensate sometimes. I am so scared that people may say that oh you are taking things too lightly’ so I will come extra early to places. I am so happy that I have this chance.”

While everyone agreed with Ananya, Siddhant had a befitting reply to the actress’s rant. He said, “The difference is jahaan humare sapne poore hote hain, wahi inka struggle shuru hota hai (their struggle begins where our dreams are fulfilled).”Internet has been lauding Siddhant for his response. A Twitter user wrote, “In 4 seconds, SiddhantChaturvedi summed up the struggle of outsiders and the upper hand celebrity kids have in the film industry! Acknowledging where you come from and being real about it is so

important!” Siddhant and Ananya will star together in Shakun Batra’s next film with Deepika Padukone.
