Vijay Devarakonda is all set for his next project, a Telugu film, helmed by award-winning director Arvind Annamalai. And guess what? Malavika Mohanan, who impressed everyone in Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds and then in the Tamil hit, Petta, with Rajinikanth will make her Telugu debut opposite Vijay. The film is titled Hero.

According to sources, Malavika will play a musician in the film while Vijay will be seen playing a biker boy. Hero is all set to go on floors in April this year. A source close to the film shared that the award-winning director, Annamalai had many options to choose from for his leading lady. However, Malavika who has been extremely choosy in signing films, fit the bill perfectly. Hence, she was signed on by the makers.
