Virat Kohli ‘blown away’ by trailer of wife Anushka Sharma’s horror movie Pari

Renowned Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is redefining her image as one of the most glamorous performers on screen by taking up the never-done-before role in her upcoming horror flick ‘Pari’. The 29-year-old unveiled the trailer of her movie, where she is seen clipping her nails in a bloodied avatar, sending chills down fans’ spine. The teasers and trailers have given the audience a glimpse of what is to expect from the movie, and like everyone else, her husband, Virat Kohli has been blown away by whatever has surfaced online so far.

Directed by debutant Prosit Roy, Pari also features Rajat Kapoor and Ritabhari Chakraborty. While Sharing the Pari trailer on Twitter, Anushka posted, “This Holi, the devil’s out to play. #PariTrailer – http://bit.ly/Trailer-Pari @paramspeak @OfficialCSFilms @kriarj @poojafilms.” At one-and-a-half minute, the trailer is crisply edited and succeeds in engaging and keeping us on the edge.

Kohli, who presently is busy with the ongoing ODI series in South Africa, tweeted about the trailier: “Can’t wait to watch my one and only in an avatar never seen before and I’m blown away already. Can’t wait @anushkasharma @officialcsfilms #PariTrailerhttp://bit.ly/Trailer-Pari”.

Kohli had earlier gave his thumbs up to the teaser of Anushka’s Pari. The Indian cricket team skipper took time out of his busy schedule to share the teaser of her newlywed wife’s movie just like he did with the trailer.
Karnesh Sharma of Clean Slate Films, who is not just the film’s co-producer but Anushka’s brother as well, said about Pari, “At Clean Slate our endeavour is to push the envelope with every film that we make. With Pari, we are hoping to give to our discerning audience an experience in the horror genre that will hopefully stay with them for a while. The response to the posters and screamers has been very encouraging and we are now looking forward to its release.”

Anushka has previously produced “NH 10” and “Phillauri”. Both the films featured her in the lead role. “Pari” also has KriArj Entertainment as one of the producers. In the first look released on June 13 last year, the actor, who played a friendly ghost in “Phillauri”, gave some serious haunting vibes. The film was initially supposed to release on February 9 but will now hit theatres on March 2 on the occasion of Holi.
